2021 Pacific Rim Whale Festival

The Pacific Rim Whale Festival is held each Spring to raise awareness about the migration of grey whales. This year was a bit different with the event being held online with dynamic speaker series and fun virtual events.
Tofino Towel Co. was honoured to be a part of this event by donating towards their silent auction to raise funds for the grey whales.

From The Pacific Rim Whale Festival:
The non-profit society began 30 years ago with a group of concerned citizens who wanted to create awareness about our pristine eco-system, the then endangered Grey Whale population, and our coastal traditions. And although the Grey Whales' numbers have increased, the celebration continues! The festivities each spring are centered around the migration of these great ocean giants, from Mexico to the Arctic - and from our shores you can witness these whales silently gliding past.
